Mlive.com recently published an article about this new Comic Con of ours. That, combined with vigorous promotion has led to us hearing these words from a variety of people, “I just heard…” followed by questions. So better a week before than a week after, we are really hearing some great things.
The biggest question of them all: “Are you still accepting vendors?” The answer is yes. We put a deadline on registrations for organizational reasons, but with the recent influx of great vendors, we just cannot say no. We are so excited to have these relevant vendors be a part of our show.
Since it is our first year, we know it will be our smallest show. But we have to start somewhere and this is it. We are already sketching out ideas for next year, including increased promotions, more events, more artists, and just more. We also think the first Saturday in February is a good rule for us to stick to.
